I’m not much of a fan of men in uniform but the sexy torso of the fire fighter in the cover piqued my interest.Once I read the blurb I knew I just had to give Dating 911 a try. Currently single, I wished I had one of those to help me out and tell me what sort of men I should be spending time with. The first thing that called to me about this story was its delicious cover. However, the rest of the story with its humorous moments, hot sex and sweet cinnamon sugar scents makes up for that slip.
This was followed by their debut album The Journey in March 1997, which was certified Gold by the BPI in November 1997.
911 released two more Silver-certified albums, Moving On, which featured the talents of guitarist Nick Cash (real name Keith Lucas) and There It Is, in 19, respectively.

But what I really loved was the messy situation into which Roxanne, the female protagonist, gets herself into.
While gathering data to find the most suitable single men available, she wades through a series of unsavory, stale dates, which literally places her back at ground zero.
Just when she is ready to give up, sin personified in the form of sexy firefighter Jett Avery, arrives tainting all of her previous data.
This author definitely knows how to build sexual tension.
From the first moment Jett and Roxanne meet I was already wishing they’d get down and dirty, but Ms.
Grieve dragged the moment on and on until I was on the edge of my seat almost begging them to give in… Her control of the tempo in the story is masterful.
